VIPTutors was launched in 2019 out of City Launch Lab in London with the mission to empower the education industry by providing education firms with an online platform for on-demand tutor sourcing and collaboration tools. Education organisations can use VIPTutors to launch new courses, save costs and improve student satisfaction with best-in-class tutors.
VIPTutors has been helping students in Asia since 2019. Our tutor community grew to over 1,700+ tutors from Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, MIT, Oxford and Cambridge, strengthened its onsite China sales team and consultants team and remote workforce in the Philippines to 40+ associates. We have expanded our operation to China with the establishment of 2 offices in Beijing and Chengdu in 2020 and 2021 respectively. Our client base has grown to include some of the largest Chinese education firms such as New Oriental Education (NYSE: EDU). We’re now actively expanding our platform globally to bring the benefits of the VIPTutors platform to education organisations around the world.
The Role
Responsibilities:
Booking Management
- Facilitate end-to-end booking cycle from taking bookings from clients/students, understanding what each booking is meant to achieve and if the booking actually achieved the objective; matching the best tutor for the booking
- Answer client/student enquiries about bookings or specific products, advise client/student on suitable tutors whose characteristics better meet the products' goal and client/student needs
- Audit invoice and other tutor payment records for assigned case group ; maintain and audit invoice records of students
Sales & Marketing
- Assist with improving product's marketing materials, and even design (brochure, poster, etc)
- Assist with marketing products and services ; encourage clients/students to secure more bookings
Terms & Conditions
- Payment: Starting offer up to 28k per month ; payment increase to 30k starting fourth month
- Role Levels: Level 1 Associate for B2B clients ; Level 2 Senior staff for B2B ; Level 3 Case Manager for ASL ; Level 4 Senior Case Manager for ASL ; Level 5 Product Manager ; Level 6 Team Leader
- Work Hours: Shifting/rotating schedule 6am-3pm , 11am-8pm, 6pm-3am ; weekday off Contract length & type: one (1) year renewable overseas contract, independent contractor
Ideal Profile
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in sales and/or marketing
- Relevant experience in project management
- Proficient in graphic design tools like Canva, an advantage
- Strong English communication skills verbal and written
- Fluent in English and Filipino
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities/projects
- Strong commitment to company values and operating principles
- Graduate of any 4-year course preferably Communications/Business related
- With stable high-speed internet connection
- Own reliable laptop/computer capable of running multiple applications at the same time
