Technical Accounting Consulting Staff

The Technical Accounting Staff will work closely with his/her supervisor(s) by helping in the operational aspects of handling clients, people, and processes under their respective silos.
Most importantly, the Technical Accounting Staff is required to demonstrate total competence and experience in helping his/her supervisors and the team in achieving the overall growth of Scrubbed, the attainment of its mission and vision aligned with its values and culture. All these are to be performed with utmost honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate basic to intermediate knowledge of complex financial accounting concepts
- Provide timely, high-quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the development and execution of the project plan and client deliverables
- Initially assess the technical accounting implications of complex business transactions and prepare written technical accounting memos or position papers
- Assist the Supervisors in handling the internal and client consultations regarding complex accounting topics including but not limited to revenue recognition, leasing arrangements, debt and equity transactions and other ad-hoc complex transactions
- Perform financial closing activities based on client needs and assist with other recurring internal reporting activities (such as preparing account reconciliations, fluctuation analysis, etc)
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with the financial reporting framework including the completion of supporting worksheets and performance of quality control procedures such as footing, cross-referencing, completeness check of note disclosures, and completion of the disclosure checklists
- Work, together with the Supervisors, in preparing training materials and technical writeups (articles and internal accounting memos) on various complex accounting topics
