Position Purpose:

This role will support an ongoing water project in the Philippines.

The candidate must have the following qualifications for the mechanical inspector position:

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer in the Philippines
• 3 years relevant construction experience
• Relevant experience in wastewater or water infrastructure construction and rehabilitation projects

Responsibilities

• He/She shall be reporting at the project site in Bagbag WRF under the management of the Construction Manager / Project Engineer.
• Verify that mechanical systems, plumbing, piping, and other mechanical installations, comply with relevant codes and safety regulations.
• Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems to ensure proper installation, functionality, and safety.
• Review mechanical plans and specifications to ensure that proposed installations meet the code requirements and safety standards.
• Perform tests to verify the functionality and safety of mechanical systems. This may include pressure tests, leak tests, and performance evaluations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate daily records of inspections, findings, and violations. Prepare detailed inspection reports and issue notices of non-compliance when necessary.
• Identify potential safety hazards and ensure that appropriate safety measures are in place.
• Other task as directed by the Construction Manager.
