Junior Distributor Sales Representative

- Assists warehouse personnel in ensuring accurate quantity of products being loaded for delivery.
- Ensures maintenance of the proper product stocking level in the truck and at the drop-off area of the accounts.
- Ensures safe and on-time transport of products by road mapping and transport planning.
- Facilitates the preparation of products being sold to outlets.
- Ensures acknowledgment of delivery made to accounts by requesting account representative's signature on the delivery slip, after they check on the delivered stocks inventory.
- Facilitates collection of payment if there is any
- Performs other tasks as assigned by his/her superior if deemed necessary
- Deliver sales targets for his section
- Regular coverage of the universe of accounts in his assigned area, in alignment with his monthly coverage plan.
- Achieve productivity targets in his area ensuring that 80% of his account universe purchases monthly
- Identify and open new or potential accounts in his coverage area
- Distribute the target SKU assortment for specific store types and channels as aligned by Shell
- Introduce and sell in new products to target accounts
- Quality execution of the standard selling procedures for Shell Lubricants, including use of selling tools and systems deployed by Shell
- Execution of trade initiatives and programs deployed by the distributor and Shell
- Report competitor activities that may impact sales for Shell lubricants
- Collections
- On time collection of trade receivables based on approved credit terms for his accounts
- Complete collection of trade receivables based on invoice, reconciling any deductions and providing supporting documents for these.
- Provide immediate information on potential trade risks that may lead to bad debts among his covered accounts
- Customer Service
- Coordinate with logistics to ensure that orders are delivered based on the quantity and delivery schedule committed to the trade
- Address account concerns involving the products, programs or services offered
- Elevate trade concerns that he cannot address to his Distributor Sales Supervisor and/or Operations Manager
- Bachelor's degree holder
- With experience in Sales is a plus but not required
- Excellent in communication both oral and written
- With valid driver's license and own motorcycle
- Willing to do field work
