Responsibilities
The Educational Content Editor reviews and refines learning materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with curriculum standards. They work closely with writers and subject matter experts to ensure content is grammatically correct, educationally sound, and appropriate for the target audience.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, English, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field (required or preferred, depending on role level)
- Proven experience in editing educational content, preferably for K–12 or higher education
- Strong command of English grammar, syntax, and writing conventions
- Familiarity with curriculum standards and instructional design principles
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient in using editing tools, word processors, and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Experience working with subject matter experts and instructional teams is a plus
