Anti-virus and Patching Administrator will be positioned as a Level 2, using his/her expertise for ensuring security compliance on both anti-virus/encryption management and OS Security patching.
Responsibilities:
Monitor compliance on both patching and anti-virus management, investigate, and implement solution on non-compliance and perform regular patching activities
Perform Antivirus and encryption management tasks including but not limited to: optimized antivirus deployment, antivirus console account management, policy management and threat prevention setup.
Perform patch management tasks include: maintaining current knowledge of available patches, deciding what patches are appropriate for particular systems, ensuring that patches are installed properly, testing systems after installation, and documenting all associated procedures.
Test new release of products to ensure compatibility and minimize user impact.
Basic troubleshooting and implementation of solution in conjunction with vendor
Recommend and implement system enhancements
Develop and document technical processes as needed.
Adhere to strict IS security guidelines
Compliance KPI Reporting on an agreed interval
Drive resolving/addressing low compliance
Comply and being proactive with Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Continuous Service Improvement in accordance with ITSM lifecycle and SLA standards
Pro-active in ensuring stability, response time, operational consistency, and life cycle over the patching and anti-virus components for Infrastructures, providing monthly reports on activity, quality and performance on Patching.

Primary Requirements:
Knowledge in Security and Anti-Virus and encryption (e.g. Bitlocker, Defendery) experience
Basic knowledge on Windows Server OS Patching and Troubleshooting
Basic knowledge on Patching tools but not limited to InTune, SSCM, WSUS, Ivanti or BigFix
Basic knowledge on System Administration in Windows OS as well as PowerShell scripting
Secondary Requirements
Has understanding in IT Software and Hardware
Basic knowledge on scheduling software (Solarwinds, CA Unicenter Autosys, or $Universe)
Basic knowledge on monitoring software (CA Unicenter NSM, Tivoli, or Microsoft SCOM)
Basic knowledge on public cloud such as Azure and AWS
- 2 years of system administration and troubleshooting experience
