TURRET MACHINE OPERATOR Education & Training: High school diploma or GED (minimum requirement) Vocational training or technical certifications in machining, metalworking, or CNC operation are a plus . Technical Skills: Experience operating turret punch presses or turret lathes Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics Proficiency in using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) Familiarity with CNC programming and machine setup (basic G-code knowledge is often beneficial) Understanding of metalworking processes, tooling, and materials . Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment preferred Experience with CNC or manual turret machines, setup, adjustment, and maintenance 4. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials (often 50 lbs or more) Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Standing for long periods and operating machinery safely .
