Job Summary:

Accounting and Procurement Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial records through routine accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. In addition, this role supports procurement-related financial processes by monitoring purchase transactions, validating vendor payments, and utilizing SAP to ensure data accuracy and appropriate financial treatment of procurement activities. The role bridges accounting and procurement functions to improve efficiency, compliance, and reporting accuracy.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Record, verify, consolidate, and enter transactions to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.

• Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts related to assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses.

• Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and reconciling transactions; investigate and resolve discrepancies.

• Prepare and present financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, to reflect the organization's financial health.

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and relevant financial policies.

• Contribute to the development and documentation of accounting and finance policies.

• Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits by providing necessary reports and documentation.

• Support and monitor the full procurement cycle—from purchase requisitions and order processing to invoice matching, vendor payment, and reporting—ensuring proper financial treatment of all procurement-related transactions.

• Leverage SAP tools, particularly T-codes, to manage accounting and procurement tasks efficiently and maintain data accuracy.

• Participate in ad hoc financial and procurement-related projects as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• At least two (2) years of professional accounting experience.

• Exposure to procurement and ERP systems such as SAP.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

• Must have a stable employment history.

• Experience with financial reporting requirements.

• Amenable to work with deadlines and without close supervision.

• Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset ability to analyze and interpret data, apply mathematical concepts to solve complex problems.

• Amenable to work both independently and collaboratively as a team member

• Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and superb organizational skills.

• Can converse effectively in English, with occasional difficulty expressing more complex thoughts and ideas clearly and coherently.

• Ability to understand current procedures and identify opportunities for improvements in the process and in the documentation.

• Proven ability to understand and efficiently utilize ERP systems to maximize processing output daily.

• Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication to be able to collaborate with cross- functional teams.

• Strong skills in interpersonal relations, ability to work closely with others, ability to cooperate with others in a manner that recognizes the importance of teamwork in achieving company goals.

• Advance Microsoft Excel to perform complex data analysis efficiently.
