RESPONSIBILITIES

The Data Analyst is responsible for providing analytical support necessary to derive business insights and data-driven products using internal and external data sources. You will work with working teams and stakeholders to provide in-depth analysis of ABS-CBN's assigned digital platforms. This is done by providing information support for strategic business priorities, understand business/functional strategies, craft analytic/reporting solutions to support these strategies, presentation of solutions to business teams, and ongoing analytic/reporting support for business initiatives.

  • Coordinating with working teams to define success metrics, ensure proper tracking of experiments and measuring the value generated for the assigned platform. 
  • Communicating business insights, project goals, and presenting data visualizations.
  • Analyzing large datasets and synthesizing insights to spot opportunities for growth and make recommendations for stakeholder buy-in
  • Documenting business analytics requirements, analyzing KPIs and metrics, data mapping, and ensuring accuracy of reports
  • Identifying possible process optimizations which may include leading automation projects
  • Collaborating with Engineering team for requirements elicitation and user acceptance testing for the deliverables

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or other related course
  • Relevant experience in statistical analysis, digital analytics, business intelligence or product analytics; experience working in a digital agency or a digitally-savvy media company (broadcast or OTT) is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and/or Google Sheets, Google Slides
  • Knowledge in digital marketing and digital ads, programming languages (such as Python, R or SQL), product and/or website analysis using a variety of analytics tools (ex. Google Analytics, GA4, Amplitude, MoEngage, etc.), and popular social media monitoring tools (ex. Crowdtangle, Emplifi, Meltwater, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Sprinklr, etc.) is a plus
  • Able to effectively visualize and communicate insights to key stakeholders
  • Passionate about learning and technology
  • Strong critical thinking skill
