For your reference, below is the job description we are looking for in an Accounting Supervisor:
- Supervises daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger management, and accuracy of journal entries, reconciliations, and other related processes that involves accounting.
- Ensures that accounting policies and work instructions are adhered to, and resolves discrepancies and errors with the team and other concerned parties
- Ensures the timely and accurate recording of assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses by the team in accordance with accounting standards in effect.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, but not limited to Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement, and related reports on time and with accuracy.
- Ensure compliance and timely preparation and filing of all tax returns and other statutory requirements.
- Ensure the accuracy of the financial data provided by the accounting system.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Develop and implement internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures.
- Oversee payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely salary disbursements and compliance with labor regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to accounting staff to enhance team performance.
- Adhere to Key Performance Indicators provided by the senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
