We are looking for a knowledgeable Accounting Manager who can lead and motivate accounting staff members and increase department accuracy and efficiency. The Accounting Manager will design, manage, track, and evaluate day-to-day activities of the operation team. Report directly to the executive team, with integrity and excellence. Understanding of the company mission, vision, and values and how internal financials affect or are affected by these. Provide insight and participate in various finance projects, and perform other duties as requested.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day affairs of the group. Provide leadership, guidance, and overall group direction. Must understand the company’s handbook for guidance.
  • Mentor and train staff and supervisors in client work aspects, including AR, AP, bank reconciliation, financial closing, and reporting.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy of AP setup, processing, and payments, with supervision and review.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy of customer billing, processing, booking, and collections, with review and supervision.
  • Review Bank Reconciliation performed by staff to ensure accuracy.
  • Coach staff at a high level, providing career growth opportunities.
  • Perform reference, internal consistency, grammar checks, and ensure high-quality output aligned with firm values.
  • Maintain overall quality of deliverables, communication, and client compliance, using global best practices.
  • Provide real-time feedback on staff performance and motivate the team.
  • Manage KPI reporting, to be submitted every 22nd of each month.
  • Ensure accurate staff timesheet inputs and metrics reporting.
  • Draft action points for deviations and discuss KPI results with staff before management review.
  • Document policy deviations for continuous improvement.
  • Manage team capacity, role assignments, and client scope.
  • Lead onboarding of new clients and handle billing and collections.
  • Communicate directly with clients, providing updates and resolving issues.
  • Champion technology and system improvements, ensuring protocols are followed.
  • Monitor staff compliance with ethics and internal policies.
  • Share best practices and insights with management for process improvements.
  • Foster a company-centric culture through internal collaboration and participation in company activities.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in finance or accounting, with 1-2 years in a managerial role.
  • CPA or equivalent; MBA or CFA is a plus.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, Netsuite, Oracle, SAP, Dynamics.
  • Excellent communication skills, articulate and clear.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently.
  • Strong sense of materiality, urgency, and multitasking ability.
  • Enjoys training, coaching, and motivating staff.
  • High ethical standards and trustworthiness.
  • Strong leadership and critical thinking skills.
