Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Data Center Mechanical Engineer at Digital Halo DC Philippines in Cainta. As a Data Center Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems in the data center. Your day-to-day tasks will involve ensuring the efficiency and reliability of cooling systems, managing HVAC infrastructure, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize energy consumption.

Supporting Data Center Manager to ensure all aspects of data center operations, meeting customers' requirements and service level agreement.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and implementing mechanical systems in data centers
• Proficiency in HVAC systems and cooling technologies
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to data center mechanical systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• Certifications in relevant mechanical engineering technologies is a plus
• Operation management - O&M (M&E, fire and control); incident response and escalation; capacity management; utility tracking; documentation; change management; vendor management; regular management update; ensure data center operational best practice such as HAC and blanking panels, general building management, etc.
• Customer management - power and space allocation; deployment; response to RFI; audit; billing and SLA reports; costing for customer deployment, etc.
• Financial management - Capex & Opex, sourcing, procurement & vendor performance management
• People management - training; coaching and mentoring and well-being.
• Project and program - EHS; compliance; regulatory; certification; lesson learnt; audit; white space management and colocation leasing.
