Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Quality Assurance Technician - responsible for supporting and assisting the QA Analyst during production run, laboratory activities and analyses.

What are the Roles and Responsibilities

General

• Performs physical and microbiological analyses of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods; and evaluate them in accordance with the specified sampling plan and specifications.
• Ensures that proper sampling techniques are used in the evaluation of material and products as well as utilities and equipment.
• Monitors the maintenance of laboratory equipment and availability of laboratory reagents and supplies.
• Coordinates and supports audits and participates in ensuring compliance to Quality Plan, oPRP Plan, HACCP Plan and documentation.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned from time-to-time by his / her immediate supervisor.

Quality

• Ensures the compliance of material, products, utilities, and equipment to the established quality standards
• Ensures the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and initiates maintenance of good working environment conditions

Food Safety

• Responsible for the primary tests needed to ensure food safety
• Support the achievement of the established quality and food safety objectives
• Ensures coordination in the communication of food safety issues of parties involved
• Coordinates with QA Supervisor, Production Team (Process, Blowing, Filling and Downstream) Supply Chain, Maintenance, Procurement, HR, Production Manager, and other external customers (i.e. VIHL, URC, Tetra Pak or Sidel).

What are the Qualifications

• Must have a 4-year Bachelor's/College Degree (preferably fresh graduate)
• Working Space: Physico - Chemical and Microbiological Laboratories
• Working Environment: Manufacturing set-up
• Risk Assessment: Having a certain degree of danger and must work in strict accordance with the laboratories and plant's rules and regulations
