With advancements in AI and new technologies, RELX is positioning itself as a thought leader in RELX's digital agenda. The strategy focuses on continuous improvement, Agile, RPA, and low-code automation to boost efficiency. This role will lead the integration of automation and generative AI into REPH's operations, aligning with RELX's strategic goals. Key success factors include executive communication, strategy formulation, stakeholder management, and effective business case development, alongside internal education and change management.

The Head of Digital Strategy & Transformation will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive digital strategy, focusing on automation and digital solutions to enhance RELX businesses. This role involves creating a strategic roadmap using advanced technologies like generative AI, aligning with various business units, and integrating with IT governance. The leader will collaborate with operations and corporate services to optimize performance through process improvement, low-code, and automation methodologies, aiming for financial impact and improved customer experience. The role requires expertise in automation, IT leadership, and change management, with a focus on driving innovation and fostering an Agile culture. Key responsibilities include overseeing process improvement and automation lifecycles, managing cross-functional programs, and championing new technologies and change management strategies. The leader will also engage stakeholders to align transformation objectives with business needs and deliver measurable value.

Job Qualifications:

• 15+ years of progressive experience in leading strategic consulting/delivery engagements for digital transformation, automation, or other enterprise platform implementations

• Practical experience in driving a digital change agenda for a multinational organization and/or Global Business Services model

• Experience leading IT/Technology organizations at a senior level

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in technical or business discipline; MBA preferred.

• Strategic thinker with deep business acumen and understanding of how emerging technologies and digital models contribute to business strategy.

• Experience in creating executive presentations and writing business cases (quantitative and qualitative) to support strategic business initiatives, process improvement initiatives, or IT transformation

• Proven experience in working with matrix teams for planning/structuring analytical work, facilitating team workshops, and developing technology strategy recommendations

• Must be able to work effectively in a role that may not have line authority, but requires skills and influence based relationships.

• Ability to work closely with the business functions and IT teams and establish strong relationships - both internally with business units, and externally, with vendors and providers.

• Highly effective analytical, negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills.

• Effective communicator is highly articulate and able to convey important messages both verbally and in writing to all organizational levels.
