As Restaurant Team Leader (Local Store Marketing), you will be in charge of

QSCH Management​

  • Control the Function and ensure excellent guest service and hospitality by maintaining fun, positive and high energy level of the team and that all guests are attended immediately.
  • Monitor the cleanliness and organization of the Function Area (Inquiry booth, party stock room, function rooms, etc.)
  • Interact with party guests to ensure that they have been provided with excellent dining experience. Check back each table and facilitate guest concern, if any. Ensure that speed service and product quality are maintained at all times.
  • Deal with party guests' concerns or complaints in a professional manner and come up with an appropriate resolution in a timely manner. Coordinate with QSCH if in need of assistance.
  • Manage the function set-up and implementations including the consistent and appropriate execution of the QSCH. Ensure that the entire store is ready for the Shift.
  • Effectively lead the party host and party assistant during the function to ensure that excellent restaurant operations are consistently achieved.
  • Lead Function Team by delegating duties, assigning specific tasks and ensuring that the team members are prepared for the event.
  • Maintain a positive work environment for the Function Team members and guests during each shift.
  • Supervise all details needed for function such as booking of mascot, party amenities and other add-ons for functions.
  • Consistently do sales pitch and reservations for functions.

Sales Building

  • Assist the Management Team in conceptualizing and effectively implementing local restaurant marketing programs to encourage new trials.
  • Help in developing enduring relationships and loyalty, within or outside the restaurant, among our guests. Conceptualize and implement frequency programs such as bounce-back and loyalty programs to increase frequency of visits, party size, share of occasion, and average check.
  • Act as a guardian of the brand trademark and copyright. Adhere to proper execution of logo and trademark specifications. Adhere to proper guidelines on merchandizing development and production. Ensure proper installation, handling and/or distribution of marketing collaterals.
  • Conduct regular community visits within the trade area including client visits and presentations. Perform public relations duty in local institutions (schools, barangay/municipal offices, etc.) Familiarize self with community events. Provide report on Community Relations programs to concerned individuals and departments.
  • Conduct Traffic Generator Surveys within the trade area map in coordination with the Restaurant Manager. Update the Store Factbook on a regular basis to indicate data. Conduct and provide report on store's Traffic Generators Trading Area Surveys.
  • Conceptualize and implement public relations programs, tie-ups and sponsorships from key traffic generators (ex. Schools, barangay, municipal and city offices, etc.)
  • Conduct competitive checks on a regular basis, and report findings to the RM.
  • Oversee the excellent implementation of the Birthday Party/Functions Program. Perform party hosting when needed.
  • Assist the MOD to effectively cascade implementing guidelines and promo mechanics of all restaurant employees.
  • Check and properly handle and stock merchandize cabinets (if available) and realize target sales of merchandize items.

Profitability Building

  • Ensure the quantity agreed in the contract matches the actual quantity served to guests during function (food, amenities, etc.)
  • Ensure the immediate collection of sales from the guests. Safekeep contracts and monitor changes for proper coordination to the MOD.
  • Monitor and manage the use of FOH materials such as tissues, packaging materials (for left over carry out) and condiments, among the many.
  • Implement store fund practice in accordance with the policies of the company.

Party/Function Staff Training

  • As the Store's RMC conduct a short but effective Daily Huddle to review the previous day/s or function's results, emphasize targets for the day and priorities to focus on by the team.
  • Assist the MOD in holding and facilitating regular meetings for the functions team, lay out action plans, recognize performers and updates on development and critical matters needing emphasis.
  • Guide the Party Team as they carry out their duties. Coach them to further improve performance. Recommend employees (Class A & B offenses) for disciplinary action. Coordinate with the Management Team for employee/s with terminable offenses (Class C).
  • Coordinate with Agency Team Leader in case there is concern on Agency Employees. Facilitate documentation of deviations and recall in coordination with the Management Team as necessary.
  • As a Restaurant Trainer, facilitate the training and development of Party Restaurant Staff with the end view of certifying them to Station and in the medium term, Captainship.

Standards

  • Delegate special tasks and prescribe specific rules and regulations critical to the effective management of the Function Area.
  • Institute internal safeguards on company funds, assets and properties. To seek ways to improve and maximize efficiency of store facilities and equipment in close coordination with the Management Team.
  • Develop new and enhance work processes in close coordination with the Management Team to provide corrective actions to recurring problems including internal guest complaints, as well as preventive actions to avoid potential problems from occurring.
  • Participate, collaborate, and implement initiatives and projects driven by the RBU and organizational strategy.
  • Monitor compliance of store to all regulatory requirements
  • Follow and enforce the Employee Code of Conduct.

Workforce Engagement

  • Assist in employee selection, hiring, training, placement, movement, rewards and recognition.
  • Evaluate the performance of immediate reports on a regular basis.

Ad Hoc

  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned either individually or as part of a committee.
